These huge I beams are the framework for what will be a beautiful penthouse condo in downtown Calgary.

Prefab beams are created off site at The Welding Shop Calgary and craned into place to begin the exterior framing of this one of a kind project.

This structural steel I beam is one of many headed to a local church to support a renovation.

The church needed to expand it”s seating area to accommodate more parishioners. In doing so some structural walls needed to be removed.

These heavy steel I beam takes up the load that the existing walls once provided.
