Holding up the Heavy Stuff

Many facilities have hundreds of miles of cabling to accommodate everything from plumbing and heating to electrical and digital wiring.

These heavy structural steel beams will be installed to a data plant where they will support framework that will carry all the wiring and digital cable.

Rockyview Hospital Renovation

These huge structural steel beams will be part of the Rockyview Hospital renovations.

Arched I beams have been curved to expand the front entrance and expand the area for shelter from weather.

Transporting the huge steel girders is only half the battle as they will be needed to me lifted into place and welded on site by the TWS Team to ensure they are properly installed.

This huge structural steel framework will welcome guests to the new Dorian Hotel in downtown Calgary.

Once covered in coloured glass it will be a focal point of the hotel and centrepiece of this upscale building.

Fabricated in sections the the structure was welded into place awaiting the final process of the glass installation.

Dorion Hotel Rooftop Guardrail Update

With the Dorion Hotel in downtown Calgary closing in on completion so is the rooftop security guardrail that will enclose a new patio.

The Dorian will be two hotels in one beautiful tower. The upper-portion Autograph will blend modern luxury with British whimsy and local flavour, including Calgary’s first 27th floor lobby complete with resto-lounge and rooftop patio.

TWS Calgary erected the structural steal that will anchor the stud framing that will then be covered with board and flashing to enclose the perimeter of this one of a kind rooftop outdoor patio.
